Prayers & Squares Ministry is a Prayer Quilt Ministry here at FBC and their motto is...

 

 

Any person in physical, emotional or a spiritual crisis who feels like they can benefit from being "covered with prayer."

 

In most cases, someone will request a prayer quilt for another person who is in need of prayer.  The requestor is the "sponsor."  The sponsor needs to be a member of the congregation and is responsible for ensuring that the recipient of the prayer quilt is willing to accept the quilt and prayers and will be talking to the recipient about how the congregation may direct their prayer efforts on his/her behalf.  The sponsor will also ensure that the quilt gets to the recipient after it is tied.

-100% cotton fabric, clean, no stains

 

-100% cotton quilting thread in neutral colors

 

-100% cotton batting, up to twin sized, pre-packaged, due to the possibilities of allergies, we must request COTTON ONLY

 

-1 and 2 gallon zip lock bags

 

-#5 pearl cotton thread in neutral colors

 

-1" BLUE painter's tape
