Men's Ministry

God's heart is broken over men who...
are spiritually lost and caught in cycles of pain, addiction and sin.
are confused about their masculinity.
have rejected their marriage.
have been take hostage by pornography.
have been deluded by the pursuit of worldly success.
What's the answer? An Active-Vibrant Men's Ministry!
Why do we need a Men's Ministry?
A church will never grow beyond the level of it's male leadership.
It takes a man to teach a man how to be a man.
Men want to move from success to significance.
Men's ministry will reach men that other ministries of the church don't.
Men's ministry develops leaders.
Men's ministry will help men spiritually mature through the practice of spiritual disciplines, such as Bible study, prayer, etc.
Men's ministry seeks to strengthen families.
Men's ministry will move men from friendship to brothers.
Men need the support of other men with whom they can be open and honest.
Our Goals of the Men's Ministry:
Our primary goal will be to help men grow in greater intimacy with God and each other.
To teach men to diligently seek to know God and how to develop spiritual disciplines in their lives to make this a reality.
Second only to a man's relationship with God is their relationship to their family.
To teach the Biblical principles outlined in Scripture that promote strong families.
We will encourage men to be men of integrity.
Honesty is valued highly and we will seek to develop an atmosphere where men can be transparent and acknowledge their weakness, failures, struggles and fears.
We will seek to instill the principle of servant leadership in men's lives.
We value servant leadership, which leads by strength of character and promotes the Biblical standard of service rather than position.
We will seek to help men develop spiritual disciplines through accountability relationships.
Some of the spiritual disciplines that we see as being rooted in grace are Bible study, prayer, meditation, stewardship, fasting, solitude, simplicity of life and service.
